AR Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join an outsourcing finance operation based in Karachi. This on-site role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least three years of experience in managing various AR functions. The position involves working night shifts and offers a competitive salary range. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment allocation, and maintaining the integrity of receivables data.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end invoicing processes and ensure accuracy in billing.
- Allocate payments promptly and reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables.
- Support collections efforts by addressing billing queries and coordinating with clients.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Generate detailed receivables reports for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in accounts receivable or related finance functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems to manage financial transactions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and numerical accuracy.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work night shifts as per operational requirements.
