Asp.Net Core Developer

Job Description

BookingWhizz is seeking a motivated Asp.Net Core Developer with at least one year of professional experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate specializes in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Asp.Net Core framework. This role involves building robust backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and working closely with other developers and stakeholders to deliver efficient software solutions. The developer will focus on coding, debugging, and optimizing application components using technologies such as Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and ASP.NET Core MVC. Although this position does not include managing a team, the developer will collaborate within a team environment to contribute to project success and continuous improvement of our system architecture.
Responsibilities
 

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using the Asp.Net Core framework to develop web applications and services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and integration with other systems.
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for database access and management, ensuring optimized queries and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including writing stored procedures, optimizing queries, and performing database tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure high performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Asp.Net Core and related technologies to continuously improve skills and application quality.
• Assist in documenting software functionality and technical specifications.
• Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
