Assistant Draughtsman

·     Supports engineers and senior draughtsmen in preparing technical drawings, maps, and plans for construction, development, and administrative projects. The role involves assisting in drafting, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy in design documentation.

·     Assist in preparing technical drawings, maps, and layouts under the supervision of senior staff.

·     Maintain and update departmental drawings, sketches, and records.

·     Support engineers in converting conceptual designs into working drawings.

·     Ensure accuracy, scale, and compliance with prescribed standards in all drawings.

·     Operate drafting instruments and computer‑aided design (CAD) software where applicable.

·     Revise and update drawings as per instructions from competent authorities.

·     Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of technical documents.
