Job Title: Assistant IT Officer

Department: IT (Labs)

Qualification: BSCS/BSSE or a 14-year Bachelor’s degree with a one-year Diploma in Information Technology

Experience: 1- 2 Years experience in the related field

Responsibilities
 

• Accepting responsibility for the lab equipment’s and ensuring that all thecomputers (with up-to-date software and antivirus), printers, and scanners arerunning properly and are in working order and cleanliness of Computer Labs.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting for the lab hardware and software malfunctioning.
• Providing technical support to the students and teachers in the use of computers during lab sessions.
• Conducting online admissions test, teacher evaluation sessions, seminars,workshops and installing the required software and troubleshooting the related problems.
• Monitoring activities and behavior of students in the lab and enforcing all rulesconcerning the use of labs to ensure the physical and environmental safety of students.
• Providing solution for the hardware, software, LAN, user account, ZAB Desk password and virus security related problems to the SZABIST employees and classroom PCs.
• Providing technical support and troubleshoots permanent employees, adjunct faculties, and students in resetting their passwords for user accounts, whenever required.
• Participating in university advancement activities i.e., orientation, convocation, conferences etc.
