The Center for Social Innovation in Developing Countries is seeking an Associate Manager to join the Leadership for Just Futures team in Karachi. This role focuses on creating and facilitating engaging learning experiences that empower emerging leaders committed to climate and energy justice. The Associate Manager leads the design and delivery of interactive workshops, coordinates collaborative learning spaces, and supports leadership development workstreams to foster collective action and growth. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing a small team while closely collaborating with partners and participants to ensure impactful and innovative learning environments. The ideal candidate has five years of experience in facilitation, training, or organizational development and is passionate about nurturing individual and group growth. This role demands strong project management skills and expertise in agile methodologies, research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning to continuously enhance program effectiveness. The Associate Manager travels as needed to support field activities and plays a critical role in capturing insights and lessons to build knowledge and tools for ongoing leadership development initiatives.
Responsibilities
 

  • Design and facilitate interactive workshops and learning spaces that empower emerging leaders and promote collaboration across movements.
  • Conduct needs assessments, surveys, and research to gather data that informs the development of workstream agendas and facilitation materials.
  • Develop comprehensive workshop agendas, learning exercises, and supportive materials to create engaging and effective educational experiences.
  • Coordinate smoothly with participants, facilitators, partners, and stakeholders to plan, organize, and deliver workstream activities on schedule.
  • Capture and analyze insights, reflections, and lessons learned from sessions to refine learning approaches and strengthen leadership toolkits.
  • Support ecosystem convenings by fostering collaboration and connections between partner organizations to enhance collective impact.
  • Manage and guide a small team of one individual to effectively deliver program objectives and support leadership development goals.
  • Adapt and customize learning spaces with creativity and relational intuition to meet the evolving needs of participants and stakeholders.
  • Travel as necessary to deliver workshops and provide on-ground support for field-based workstream activities.
  • Apply project management and agile project management techniques to maintain organized workflows and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize facilitation skills to read group dynamics, encourage participation, and foster inclusive and supportive learning environments.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to leadership, learning methodologies, and social change to continuously enhance program delivery.
