We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager Sales to support the Sales Manager in driving business growth and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within designated territories or market segments.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies and pricing strategies.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for management review.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and customer support teams to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
- Provide input for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical business practices at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant B2B sales experience.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in client handling, business development, and contract negotiation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with solid business acumen.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in preparing presentations and reports.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
