To support the Sales team in the completion and management of the tender process, ensuring our strategy to win business is clearly articulated in a professional manner. An ideal candidate must have an academic background in creative writing, content writing, or bid writing with a keen interest in developing a career within this field. This role has the potential for promotion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards of work through supporting others to complete tender questions.
  • Write tender responses within the PQQ and ITTs.
  • Follow the company's bid process.
  • Find tender opportunities, source documents, and create breakdowns to share with your team.
  • Work on portals and coordinate the progress of your bid with your team.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets through quality submissions to improve our conversion ratio from submission to success.
  • Ensure all documents are free from grammatical errors and professionally represent our brand.
  • Develop an effective library of information and liaise with other departments to keep this updated.
  • Write and develop content for tender responses that are bespoke to the target market, involving creative writing.
  • Collaborate with BDMs to create marketing activities that fit within guidelines, such as event invites and case studies.
  • Set and achieve tender deadlines by managing your diary and ensuring all stakeholders receive regular feedback.
  • Be proactive in gathering new information without having to ask.
  • Contribute to documents by questioning others against client objectives.
  • Edit all received content to ensure it meets standards and is tailored to each prospect's requirements.
  • Stay updated on our prospects and competitors to ensure responses are tailored and effectively deliver our strategy.
  • Deliver bespoke documents on time, editing all content received from the business.
  • Compile and distribute bids within the team.
  • Keep abreast of group business ventures and services, market evolution, and relationships with customers, clients, and suppliers.
  • Identify additional opportunities by understanding client requirements.
  • Build relationships with colleagues to call upon for assistance in achieving deadlines.
  • Motivate others to send content for tenders to achieve deadlines.
  • Target and develop a network of influential internal and external contacts, particularly those with contracts up for renewal.
  • Work with colleagues to fully understand our target clients.
  • Manage deadlines for information to be received effectively.
  • Prepare presentations in various formats.
  • Continuously monitor progress against deadlines and communicate accordingly.
  • Actively promote personal development to ensure ongoing sales success while demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Maintain an open mind by listening to others with different opinions.
  • Promote a professional image at all times.

TARGET:

  • Submit 4 quality tenders, including PQQs, each month.
  • Conduct follow-ups and debrief evaluations on a monthly basis with an action plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (creative or bid writing background preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must confidently interact with UK-based clients in a professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills; must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Prior experience in the facilities management industry or with UK-based FM clients is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tendering portals (e.g., Proactis, In-Tend, Contracts Finder) is preferred.
  • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive) is a plus.

  • Experience: 1-2 years
  • Work Timings: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (in Summers) and 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (in Winters)
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday
  • Work Mode: Onsite
