EFU Life Assurance is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with at least one year of experience to drive the growth and expansion of our client base. This role focuses on establishing and strengthening customer relationships and generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills and a proactive approach to lead generation. While sales experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Since this position does not involve managing a team, the focus remains on individual contributions toward business goals. The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value of EFU Life Assurances products and services. The individual must be adept at maintaining long-term client relationships while exploring new markets and business avenues. The role requires a strategic thinker who can work independently, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet and exceed set objectives.
Responsibilities
 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and contacting potential clients in targeted markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to maximize client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to increase sales pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Present and clearly communicate the features and benefits of EFU Life Assurance products and services to prospective clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and customer needs to tailor offerings that meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports to track progress against targets.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other marketing activities to promote the company and expand the client base.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and changes in the insurance sector.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and sales activities in the customer relationship management system.
