CCTV Operator

Superior Business Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant CCTV Operator to monitor video surveillance systems and ensure the safety and security of premises. The ideal candidate possesses experience in real-time video monitoring and is skilled in alarm handling and verification, incident response protocols, and emergency communication procedures. This role requires an individual who can effectively observe, detect, and report suspicious activities or security breaches using advanced surveillance monitoring software and CCTV surveillance systems. The candidate should have a minimum of one year of relevant experience and at least an intermediate level of education. As a CCTV Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment by promptly identifying potential threats and coordinating appropriate responses. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring live video feeds, verifying alarms, and following established protocols to handle incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Attention to detail and the ability to stay focused for extended periods are essential. This position does not involve managing a team, but it requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure to support the security operations of Superior Business Consulting.
Responsibilities
 

• Continuously monitor live CCTV video feeds to detect and report any suspicious or unusual activity in real time.
• Verify alarm activations by reviewing video footage promptly to confirm the nature of the incident.
• Follow established incident response protocols to escalate or respond appropriately to security breaches or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of all surveillance activities, incidents, and responses for review and investigation purposes.
• Operate surveillance monitoring software and CCTV systems skillfully, ensuring all equipment functions correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinate timely communication with security personnel and emergency responders during incidents using emergency communication protocols.
• Conduct routine checks of surveillance equipment to ensure proper operation and report any malfunctions or maintenance requirements.
• Review video recordings when necessary to gather evidence or clarify suspected security concerns.
• Remain alert and focused throughout assigned shifts, maintaining vigilance to support a secure environment.
• Collaborate with the security team by providing detailed information on incidents to assist in investigations and security planning.
