Chief Risk Officer

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is currently hiring a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for one of its prestigious clients in the banking sector.

This is a C-suite / EVP-level leadership role responsible for driving the bank’s overall risk strategy and ensuring robust governance across all risk domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and strengthen the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
• Oversee credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and frameworks (including SBP & Basel)
• Develop and implement risk policies, controls, and governance structures
• Advise senior leadership and Board Risk Committee on risk exposure and mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• 12–20+ years of experience in the banking sector, with significant risk leadership exposure
• Strong understanding of Basel frameworks & regulatory compliance
• Proven track record in risk strategy, governance, and transformation
• Professional certifications such as FRM / CFA preferred
