Chiller Operator

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Chiller Operator to join our team at the SITE Area near Orangi Town, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial chiller systems and cooling towers. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain cooling equipment efficiently to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Chiller Operator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of chillers and cooling towers, ensuring all machinery operates within safety and efficiency standards. Additionally, this role involves supervising a small team of one person, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operational workflow. The Chiller Operator is responsible for conducting routine inspections, identifying equipment faults, and performing corrective maintenance to prevent downtime. The person in this role will maintain operational records, report malfunctions, and participate in periodic system upgrades or repairs. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with maintenance teams and reporting operational issues to management. This position offers a competitive salary of PKR 60,000 and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Responsibilities
 

• Operate and monitor industrial chiller systems and cooling towers to maintain optimal temperature control.
• Conduct regular inspections of chillers and refrigeration equipment to detect and diagnose problems promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on chiller and cooling systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Manage and supervise a team of one person, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any operational incidents.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration and cooling system failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all operational activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Monitor the refrigeration cycle and cooling tower operations to optimize energy consumption and system efficiency.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new chiller units or equipment upgrades as required.
• Report operational issues and improvements to management promptly and clearly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment around chillers and associated equipment.
