Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in civil estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates, and coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure competitive and timely bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Review civil project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.

Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations for competitive pricing.

Assist in developing bid proposals and ensure timely submission of estimates.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize project costs.

Stay updated with industry standards, material pricing, and construction codes.

Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

Maintain and organize estimation records and documentation.

Qualifications:

6 months to 1 year of experience in civil estimating for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

Basic knowledge of civil construction systems, materials, and practices.

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
