ROI Counts is a performance-driven eCommerce marketing team working with multiple direct-to-consumer brands.
Our focus is creative-first acquisition.
We believe the biggest lever for scaling paid social is high-performing ad creatives, and we operate a fast creative testing engine designed to continuously produce, test, and iterate winning ad concepts.
We are looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to lead the creative engine behind our paid acquisition campaigns.
You will work across multiple brands developing ad concepts, writing scripts, analyzing creative performance, and driving continuous creative iteration.
Role Overview
This role owns the creative strategy and testing pipeline for paid acquisition.
Your primary responsibility is to continuously develop new ad concepts, write scripts, analyze performance, and decide what creative should be:
You will work closely with designers, video editors, and creators to maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of new ad creatives.
This is not a media buying role. Campaign budgets and bidding strategies are handled separately.
Your focus is creative performance. Below are the key responsibilities in this role.
Creative Strategy
- Develop new ad concepts, angles, and hooks for Meta Ads
- Research competitors and identify emerging creative trends
- Build and maintain a structured creative testing roadmap
- Suggest creative budget allocation across concepts and formats
- Identify creative fatigue and propose new iterations
- Brainstorm new ad formats and creative approaches
Script Writing & Concept Development
- Write high-performing UGC video scripts
- Write structured static ad briefs for designers
- Develop multiple hooks and creative variations per concept
- Present new concepts and scripts for approval
- Assign approved scripts to creators and production teams
Creative Production & Iteration
- Work closely with creators, editors, and designers to produce ad creatives
- Ensure creative assets are delivered on time
- Create mashups using existing footage and assets
- Rebuild ads with new hooks, messaging, or pacing
- Use existing footage with new scripts or AI voiceovers to test new angles
- Continuously iterate on existing creatives to improve performance
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze creative-level performance metrics including:
- CTR
- CPA
- Hook rate
- Hold / sustain rate
- Hit rate
- ROAS
- Identify winning creatives and scaling opportunities
- Identify underperforming creatives and determine why they failed
- Produce weekly reports covering:
- creatives tested
- winning creatives
- failed creatives
- key learnings
- Provide a high-level summary of creative performance across accounts
Landing Page Alignment
- Ensure ad messaging aligns with landing page messaging
- Suggest improvements to landing page structure and copy
- Build quick landing page tests using drag-and-drop builders when needed
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working as a Creative Strategist for eCommerce brands or agencies
- Strong copywriting and UGC scriptwriting skills
- Deep understanding of Meta Ads creative formats and best practices
- Experience working with designers, video editors, and creators
- Ability to turn performance data into creative insights
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage creative strategy across multiple brands simultaneously
Bonus Skills
- Experience using AI tools for creative ideation and scripting
- Experience sourcing and managing UGC creators
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Library and competitor research
- Experience with creative testing frameworks
