1) Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules for exhaust pipes, mufflers, resonators, and related sub-assemblies (Robotic/CO2 welding, leak testing, assembly lines).
2) Ensure production targets (volume, delivery, uptime) are met across shifts; manage manpower deployment, shift handovers, and line balancing.
3) Monitor and improve OEE (availability, performance, quality) on welding and forming lines; minimize line stoppages through coordination with maintenance, tooling, and material supply teams.
4) Lead Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma projects to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste on exhaust/muffler lines.
5) Drive cost reduction initiatives cycle time reduction, energy savings, material yield improvement (tube/sheet metal utilization).
6) Identify bottlenecks through time & motion studies, line balancing, and value stream mapping (VSM).
7) Drive automation and process improvement projects (robotic welding upgrades, fixture redesign, poka-yoke implementation).
8) Conduct root cause analysis for productivity/output losses and implement corrective actions.
9) Set and track improvement KPIs; present monthly improvement project status to management.
10) Support new product introduction (NPI) trials and process validation for new tooling/lines.
11) Work with process/tool engineering on jig, fixture, and welding parameter optimization.
12) Standardize best practices (SOPs, work instructions) across shifts/lines.
13) Monitor production cost per unit; track and reduce scrap/rework at source; optimize raw material consumption (SS/MS tubing, sheet metal).
14) Prepare daily production, OEE, downtime, and improvement-project MIS. reports; track savings/impact of improvement initiatives

1) BE/ME in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
2) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, or assembly operations.
3) Basic knowledge of quality tools (7QC tools, Kaizen, 5S) and lean manufacturing principles.
4) Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
5) Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and production reporting/ERP tools.
6) Strong communication and coordination skills.

6-8 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
