Education Counsellor

The Education Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. In this role, you will assist students in selecting appropriate international study programs, universities, and destinations that align with their academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations. Your daily tasks will include conducting counselling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with application forms, and supporting students through interview preparation and visa filing. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with university partners and internal teams, and staying informed about changes in admission and visa policies. Clear and professional communication with students and their families is essential, as is contributing to outreach activities such as seminars, information sessions, and follow-up calls to prospective applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide students in selecting suitable international study programs and destinations based on their profiles and goals.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to explain admission criteria and application procedures.
- Assist students with completing application forms and preparing for university interviews and visa processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
- Coordinate with partner universities and internal departments to ensure smooth application processing.
- Stay updated on evolving admission requirements and visa regulations for key study destinations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students and their families to build trust and provide ongoing support.
- Participate in outreach initiatives including seminars, information sessions, and follow-up communications with prospective students.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong counselling and advisory skills with the ability to assess student profiles and recommend appropriate study options.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with students and families.
- Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple applications and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and student visa procedures for major study destinations.
- Proficiency in using office productivity software and basic digital tools for documentation, communication, and research.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field. Relevant experience in education counselling or student services is an advantage.
- Customer service orientation, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting students throughout their application journey.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Karachi and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different locations.
