Email Marketing & Fundraising Copywriter

Islam Net is seeking a skilled Email Marketing & Fundraising Copywriter with a minimum of three years of experience to craft compelling and conversion-driven email campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written English and a proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in planning and executing full email sequences focused on fundraising and donor engagement. This role requires independence, strong judgment, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating remotely with a distributed team based in Norway and Pakistan. The candidate must adeptly balance creative copywriting with strategic donor journey mapping, segmentation, and compliance with email regulations to maximize fundraising outcomes. The successful candidate understands the nuances of persuasive communication and ethical considerations in fundraising. They utilize AI tools responsibly to enhance workflow but maintain the ability to independently assess and refine AI-generated content. The role demands proficiency in email campaign strategy, A/B testing, marketing automation platforms, and data-driven analytics to optimize call to action and ensure robust donor engagement. This is a non-management position focused on individual contribution within a collaborative, remote work environment.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns and fundraising sequences that drive donor engagement and conversions.
• Write clear, persuasive, and ethically sound fundraising copy tailored to diverse donor segments and aligned with campaign strategies.
• Use segmentation and targeting techniques to personalize email outreach and enhance the donor experience throughout the fundraising journey.
• Plan and manage email list health and growth while ensuring full compliance with email regulations and best practices.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, calls to action, messaging, and design elements for improved performance metrics.
• Leverage marketing automation platforms to schedule, send, and monitor email campaigns effectively, ensuring timely delivery and engagement.
• Analyze and report on email campaign performance data, deriving actionable insights to inform future strategy and improve fundraising results.
• Collaborate with remote team members to align email content with broader marketing goals and organizational objectives.
• Apply sound copywriting principles to edit and improve AI-assisted content, maintaining a high standard of quality and authenticity.
