Job Description

Saab Moulded Furniture is seeking a dedicated Trainee Accounts professional to join our finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed their I.Com, with preference given to candidates possessing a B.Com qualification. The Trainee Accounts role focuses on developing foundational accounting skills, managing financial data, and supporting the finance department in maintaining accurate records. It provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting practices and financial data management in a growing manufacturing environment. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn various accounting processes, including spreadsheet management and data analysis. The Trainee Accounts individual will not be responsible for managing a team but will play a crucial role in assisting senior accountants and management with financial reports, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting daily accounting operations to contribute to overall organizational success.
Responsibilities
 

• Maintain and update financial records using Excel spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and organization.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and documentation as required by senior accountants.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the accounts team in daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting principles in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial processing and reporting.
• Participate in training sessions to develop a deeper understanding of accounting software and financial procedures.
• Help in reconciling accounts where needed, verifying transactions and correcting errors.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts by compiling relevant financial data.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial and personal information at all times.
