Job Description
Anfords seeks a dedicated and technically proficient ERP Administrator specializing in Odoo to join the IT / ERP Support department at their Karachi office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the Odoo ERP system across multiple business areas including HR, Sales, Inventory, Finance, and Purchase. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ERP workflows and will be responsible for overseeing system stability, user support, customization coordination, and data security. This position also involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to enhance the overall user experience and drive operational efficiency. The ERP Administrator will lead a small team of two, fostering collaboration and effective communication to deliver robust ERP services. Responsibilities include managing system access, coordinating upgrades with developers, training users on best ERP practices, and generating insightful reports to support departmental needs. Candidates should have 2 or more years of relevant experience and a strong problem-solving approach, combined with knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL databases and familiarity with the Linux server environment. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional capable of balancing technical management with user-centric support for ongoing system improvements.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Odoo ERP system to ensure reliable performance and availability.
Provide timely technical and functional support to users across various departments, assisting with ERP-related queries and issues.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve system errors or bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
Manage user access permissions and enforce data security protocols to safeguard sensitive business information.
Coordinate with internal developers and external vendors to plan and implement customizations, upgrades, and integration solutions.
Conduct thorough system testing, develop backup procedures, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ERP processes and configurations.
Train end-users on Odoo ERP functionalities, workflows, and best practices to maximize system utilization and efficiency.
Generate and distribute detailed reports to support departmental decision-making and improve operational insights.
Support ERP implementation initiatives, including participation in process reviews, change management, and post-implementation optimization.
Collaborate closely with team members, providing leadership and sharing knowledge to ensure collective success in ERP administration.
