ERP Functional Consultant

Job Description

10 Cores Solutions is seeking a dedicated ERP Functional Consultant with a strong background in business process analysis and ERP software configuration. This role requires a candidate who can effectively gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement ERP solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The consultant plays a vital part in bridging the gap between technical teams and business users by providing clear communication, conducting detailed requirements gathering, and offering expert guidance on system improvements. The position demands at least two years of relevant industry experience in ERP, accounting, or business systems, along with a strong understanding of accounting and business processes to deliver solutions that align closely with organizational goals. The ERP Functional Consultant will manage a team of two persons, overseeing their work and providing mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables. The role involves conducting client-facing demonstrations, training sessions, and ongoing user support to facilitate smooth ERP system adoption. Communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively conveying complex concepts and ensuring user comprehension. The ideal candidate will be analytical, with excellent problem-solving capabilities and experience in business process modeling and gap analysis to identify opportunities for system enhancements. Familiarity with ERP systems coupled with accounting qualifications such as ACCA, Inter CA, or ICMA is preferred.
Responsibilities
 

• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to understand operational workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document detailed functional requirements from stakeholders to inform ERP configuration and customization.
• Configure ERP software modules based on business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
• Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current business processes and system capabilities, proposing appropriate solutions.
• Develop business process models that accurately represent existing and future state workflows to support ERP implementation.
• Deliver engaging client-facing demonstrations and training sessions to facilitate user adoption and maximize system utilization.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, resolving issues and ensuring smooth ERP operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive integration of ERP systems within broader business processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of two associates, overseeing their tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality outputs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERP trends and best practices, applying them to enhance system configurations and user experiences.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to various audiences, translating technical details into understandable terms for business stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing performance and efficiency.
