Aisha Steel Mill Limited Karachi, Pakistan is seeking an Executive Store professional to oversee the efficient management of store operations with a special focus on SAP-related activities and inventory control. This role involves performing all store-related SAP tasks such as Material Code Opening, Purchase Order management, Rejection Records, and Goods Receipt Notes. The Executive Store ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and maintains accurate daily inventory records, coordinating with various departments including Engineering and Finance to facilitate seamless supply chain processes. The role demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail to guarantee data accuracy and resolve supply chain bottlenecks by improving SAP processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field with a minimum of four years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree holders or two years for Master's degree holders. The Executive Store must exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills while handling multiple procurement and inventory tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in SAP MM and Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams. This position does not require team management skills but emphasizes strong coordination and process optimization capabilities within supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
 

  • Perform all store activities related to SAP including Material Code Opening, Purchase Order (PO) management, Rejection Records, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
  • Ensure all store operations adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain and update daily inventory records for accurate stock availability and effective inventory control.
  • Manage SAP Material Management (MM) schedules and data ensuring timely and precise material flow.
  • Coordinate closely with the Engineering Department to validate Purchase Requisitions (PR) and generate corresponding Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks by analyzing and enhancing SAP processes and workflows.
  • Cross-verify legacy system data against Store and Finance records to ensure 100% accuracy of inventory and financial data.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance (FICO) team and other departments to address discrepancies and optimize inventory management.
  • Support the overall supply chain by performing additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, ensuring smooth operational processes.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills for vendor management, securing optimal terms and pricing while maintaining solid vendor relationships.
  • Use analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess inventory trends and supply chain challenges proactively.
  • Manage simultaneous procurement and inventory-related tasks with high attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to generate reports, analyze data, and support decision-making processes.
