Factory & Production Supervisor – HVAC

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory & Production Supervisor to lead operations at our water cooler manufacturing facility in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC, refrigeration, cooling equipment, or related manufacturing sectors. This role requires practical knowledge of these systems along with the ability to effectively manage factory operations, production teams, materials, quality control, maintenance, and production planning to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily factory and production operations to maintain consistent output.
- Manage and lead factory staff, ensuring clear communication and teamwork.
- Plan and monitor daily and weekly production schedules to meet targets.
- Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Oversee water cooler assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Supervise critical processes including brazing, pressure testing, leak testing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, cooling, and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with stores and purchasing departments.
- Monitor material consumption, control wastage, and manage inventory requirements.
- Implement quality control checks and inspect finished products before dispatch.
- Track production metrics such as defects, rework, rejected units, and material usage.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper factory housekeeping, safety protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements.
- Report production, manpower, material, and technical issues to management promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in HVAC, refrigeration, water coolers, chillers, commercial refrigeration, or cooling equipment manufacturing.
- Proven track record of supervising a factory, workshop, or production facility.
