Job Purpose

To ensure the quality and technical compliance of transformer manufacturing through in-process inspections, Quality Gates, material traceability, NCR management, documentation, and final testing in accordance with defined standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check in-process inspection sheets for different production sections.
• Implementation of Quality Gate which restricts the product to move to the next section without verifying all the technical requirements of the previous section.
• Study the One World Quality Manual and implement and make work instructions accordingly for different production sections.
• To understand the specifications of different ratings and provide the in-process inspection sheets and drawings accordingly.
• To check the transformer leads & tolerances and modifications if required.
• To monitor the final assembly process which includes the final clamping, active part exposure time, leads tolerances and visual check of active part before tanking.
• To prepare the documented file for each order of transformer (includes all technical data for each transformer) and for the completed in-process inspection sheets.
• To fill up the material traceability document, this indicates the supplier's name & serial number of the material/accessories.
• To make a Non-Conformance Report for the supplier if the received materials have any physical damages or the requirements of the material are not fulfilled.
• To make a Non-Conformance Report for the production if any process or product failure takes place during the production process. This non-conformance also includes the corrective and preventive actions for the failure.
• To monitor on going routine and type tests of transformers in Test Field.

Requirements:

Years of experience: 2 to 3 years

Academic Qualifications: BE Electrical Engineering

Computer Skills: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Preferred Skills, AutoCAD

Technical Skills: Engineering Drawing, Basic Power Engineering

Language proficiency: English /Urdu.
