Finance Executive

Saira Sonia & Co. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our expanding team. This role requires a professional who has a strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation and reconciliations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) and is proficient in utilizing accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO). As a Finance Executive at Saira Sonia & Co., you will lead a team of five persons, overseeing financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance while supporting strategic financial planning and decision-making. The Finance Executive drives the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, manages cash flow effectively, and delivers insightful financial analysis to support business goals. This role demands excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to maintain reliable financial data and reports. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in financial management and contributing to the continued growth and success of Saira Sonia & Co.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of five finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and IAS standards.
• Conduct thorough financial planning and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow effectively to maintain liquidity and optimize financial resources.
• Oversee bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and implement best accounting practices.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, providing actionable insights and reports to senior management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
• Support cross-departmental financial initiatives and assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
