This position involves managing the daily kitchen operations at our Kanteen restaurant, ensuring that all culinary activities meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized kitchen environment while controlling costs and optimizing resources to support the restaurant’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring food preparation and presentation meet established quality standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maintain budgetary goals.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to guarantee compliance with hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and update menus in alignment with seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure timely repairs to avoid operational disruptions.
- Analyze kitchen performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
