Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Executive to own our people operations from the ground up. This is a full generalist role — you will handle everything from hiring to payroll to compliance. You will be the first dedicated HR hire at RapidX Ventures, reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, and will play a key role in building our team culture as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Post job openings on Rozee.pk, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Facebook
• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for all departments
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with department heads
• Draft and send offer letters and employment contracts
• Maintain recruitment tracker and update hiring pipeline daily

Onboarding & Employee Management

• Design and execute onboarding process for all new joiners
• Maintain complete employee files — contracts, documents, records
• Track probation periods and coordinate confirmation evaluations
• Manage employee database and ensure records are always up to date

Payroll & Attendance

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain daily attendance and leave records for all staff
• Calculate overtime, deductions, and final settlements
• Coordinate salary disbursements with Finance team

Compliance & Admin

• Ensure compliance with Pakistan Labour Laws
• Handle EOBI, PESSI/SESSI registration and monthly submissions
• Maintain all HR documentation — policies, SOPs, warning letters
• Draft HR letters — experience letters, NOCs, appointment letters
• Handle employee grievances and escalate when necessary

Culture & Engagement

• Support team engagement activities and recognition programs
• Assist in building HR policies aligned with RapidX SERVE values
• Be the go-to person for employee queries and concerns

KPIs

• Time-to-Fill (open positions): Under 2 weeks
• Payroll Accuracy: 100% on time, zero errors
• Onboarding Completion: 100% within first week of joining
• Compliance Filings: Zero missed deadlines
• Employee Record Accuracy: 100% up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–2 years HR generalist experience (startup or e-commerce preferred)
• Knowledge of Pakistan Labour Laws, EOBI, and PESSI/SESSI compliance
• Experience with payroll processing and attendance management
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong written and verbal communication in Urdu and English
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism

Preferred

• Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing company
• Familiarity with HR tools or HRIS software
• Experience drafting HR policies and SOPs from scratch
• Knowledge of Karachi-based hiring platforms and talent sources
