Job Description

As an HR Operations Officer at HRSI, you lead and manage a team of five professionals focused on payroll processing and recruitment activities. This role demands a solid foundation in human resources operations, particularly within the Pakistani labor context. You are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll management, recruitment from job posting through onboarding, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations such as EOBI, SESSI, and income tax rules. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is essential to support HR reporting and day-to-day operations efficiently. In this role, you collaborate closely with finance departments for salary disbursement and support organizational HR audits and documentation. Your careful attention to detail and organizational skills ensure seamless employee lifecycle management and compliance with labor laws. This position requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a demanding HR environment.
Responsibilities
 

  • Oversee and manage monthly payroll processing including all deductions, bonuses, and settlements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with Pakistani labor laws including EOBI, SESSI, and income tax regulations in all HR and payroll functions.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, coordinating interviews, and facilitating smooth employee onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR dashboards, and comprehensive payroll reports using advanced MS Excel functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data validation.
  • Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements for all employees.
  • Support HR audits by preparing required documentation and responding to employee queries related to HR policies and payroll.
  • Supervise and guide a team of five HR personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in payroll and recruitment operations to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data and HR records in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing periodic HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
