Industry Engagement & Training Lead

Location: Karachi.

About the Role

GS1 Pakistan is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Industry Engagement & Training Lead to drive awareness, adoption, and implementation of GS1 standards across key industries, including FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Medical Devices, and Textiles.

In this role, you will educate industry professionals through training sessions, workshops, and presentations while building strong relationships with businesses to support supply chain excellence and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and presentations on GS1 standards and supply chain best practices.
• Educate and guide organizations on the implementation and benefits of GS1 global standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leading companies and institutions across multiple industries.
• Support businesses throughout their GS1 implementation journey by providing guidance and addressing operational challenges.
• Promote industry engagement and encourage the adoption of GS1 standards to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives that contribute to supply chain optimization and digital transformation.
• Design and develop high-quality training materials, presentations, and learning resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and ensure successful implementation.
• Represent GS1 Pakistan at industry events, seminars, meetings, and awareness programs.
   

Qualifications & Experience
 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Medical Devices, or the Textile industry.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Confidence in delivering training sessions and engaging with diverse audiences.
• Ability to simplify technical or operational concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in training, teaching, facilitation, learning & development, or capacity building will be an advantage.
• Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
