Mellori is seeking a proactive and skilled Key Account Manager specializing in the Horeca (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) sector. This role involves managing and nurturing key accounts within the food industry space, ensuring sustained business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in account management specifically within the horeca food sector and demonstrates strong negotiation and communication skills. As a self-starter, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue to meet company objectives. The Key Account Manager operates independently without managing a team but works collaboratively with internal departments to align strategies and resources to customer needs. The role demands a thorough understanding of the horeca market dynamics, client requirements, and competitive landscape to effectively deliver tailored solutions. The candidate must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure client retention through exceptional service and strategic account planning.


Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts in the Horeca food sector.
  • Understand client needs and business objectives to tailor solutions that maximize account growth and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product departments, to coordinate efforts and deliver customer-focused results.
  • Manage all aspects of account management, including contract negotiations, order coordination, and client communications.
  • Identify new opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services within assigned accounts.
  • Track and analyze account performance metrics to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on product features, new offerings, and market trends to clients.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts promptly to maintain client trust and partnership longevity.
  • Stay informed about Horeca market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting client businesses.
  • Drive customer retention and loyalty by ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing client feedback effectively.
  • Attend industry events and network to expand and deepen client relationships and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation to ensure compliance and support business reporting needs.
