Job Summary

New Day Secondary School is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to join our team from 1st April 2026

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Develop a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Teach foundational skills such as basic literacy, numeracy, and communication.
• Encourage creativity through art, music, storytelling, and play.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress and developmental milestones.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive discipline.
• Organize classroom materials and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Friendly and supportive learning environment

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Montessori-trained preferred
• Early Childhood Education (ECD) certification
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of teaching experience
• Fluent in spoken English
• Punctual, responsible, and regular
• Strong classroom management
