As our operations expand, we require a structured and legally minded professional to manage and resolve complaints, disputes, and compliance documentation.

We are seeking a confident and experienced Legal Secretary who will independently handle formal complaint matters and legal-administrative processes on behalf of the company.

This is a responsibility-based role, not a junior assistant position.

Role Overview

You will take ownership of:

  • Complaint investigations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Refund cases
  • Chargebacks
  • Formal written responses
  • Compliance documentation
  • Contract and policy updates

You will be responsible for professionally resolving matters in a structured, legally cautious and commercially protective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve formal client and learner complaints
  • Investigate cases and review documentation (consent forms, agreements, course terms)
  • Draft and issue structured written responses
  • Make recommendations on dispute resolution and refunds
  • Handle payment processor disputes and chargebacks
  • Maintain accurate and organised complaint records
  • Update and refine policies, terms & conditions and legal documents
  • Prepare documentation for insurance review where required
  • Monitor risk exposure and escalate serious matters appropriately
  • Ensure all responses protect the company legally and reputationally

Essential Requirements

  • Based in Pakistan
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Law degree (LLB preferred) OR 2+ years experience in a legal role
  • Strong experience drafting formal legal correspondence
  • Ability to independently manage complaint and dispute cases
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Stable internet connection
  • Availability to overlap 3–4 hours with UK working hours

Required Knowledge

Candidates must demonstrate understanding of:

  • UK consumer rights principles
  • Contractual obligations and refund conditions
  • Medical negligence and malpractice concepts
  • Duty of care and documentation standards
  • Risk-sensitive communication (avoiding admission of liability)
  • Structured dispute resolution processes
