Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure at our Arena Multimedia facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our network, servers, and multimedia systems. This position requires hands-on troubleshooting, system updates, user support, and close collaboration with various teams to support multimedia production and delivery effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks, including Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Administer servers running Windows and Linux operating systems, overseeing storage and backup solutions.
- Monitor network security and performance, promptly identifying and resolving any issues.
- Support multimedia hardware and software such as editing suites, render farms, and streaming systems.
- Provide technical assistance to users and conduct training sessions when necessary.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- Experience with server administration, particularly Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Ability to work on-site at the designated location.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time role with a starting salary of Rs45,000 per month. During the application process, candidates will be asked about their current residence within Karachi, last drawn salary, and notice period.
