Operations Manager

Gateway Systems is looking for a highly driven and experienced Operations Manager to join our growing software team. If you have a passion for streamlining processes, leading cross functional teams, and ensuring smooth software delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily operations of software development and delivery teams

* Coordinate across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and Support

* Optimize workflows using Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies

* Monitor project timelines, sprint progress, and delivery milestones

* Improve efficiency through automation and process enhancements

* Manage resource planning, team allocation, and capacity forecasting

* Track KPIs including sprint velocity, release cycles, uptime, and bug resolution

* Ensure seamless product releases and deployment processes

* Collaborate with HR for hiring, onboarding, and team development

* Manage budgets, vendors, and software tools

* Ensure compliance with data security and company policies

* Identify risks and proactively resolve project bottlenecks

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field

* 4–8+ years of relevant experience in operations, project management, or software delivery

* Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Experience with Jira, Asana, Trello, or ClickUp

* Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA / PMP certification

* Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

* Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma frameworks

* Experience in SaaS or product-based companies
