Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Specialist role based in the Karachi Division. The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for hospital staff, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions in line with organizational policies and local regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining employee payroll records, processing new hires, terminations, and status changes, and ensuring timely payments through the designated payroll system. The role will also handle payroll taxes, statutory contributions, and garnishments, while preparing payroll reports and reconciliations for finance and management. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll queries, support audits, and recommend process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications 

  • Strong payroll administration capabilities, including Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to Payroll Taxes and Garnishments.
  • Experience working with outsourced or internal Payroll Services and relevant payroll software.
  • Solid understanding of compensation structures, benefits, and local labor laws.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting or financial reconciliation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with HR, Finance, and employees.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field; prior experience in a hospital or large multi-site organization is an advantage.
