Full job description

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Podcast Specialist to plan, produce, and grow our podcast presence across multiple platforms. This role requires a mix of content strategy, audio production, storytelling, and marketing expertise to build a high-impact podcast that attracts, engages, and converts listeners.

Key Responsibilities of Podcast Specialist

Podcast Production & Management

• Plan, schedule, and manage podcast episodes from concept to publishing
• Coordinate with hosts, guests, and internal teams
• Record, edit, and finalize high-quality audio/video podcast episodes

Editing & Post-Production

• Edit audio for clarity, quality, and engagement
• Add music, sound effects, and branding elements
• Create video podcast versions and short clips for social media

Growth & Marketing

• Develop strategies to increase podcast listeners and subscribers
• Optimize podcast titles, descriptions, and SEO
• Distribute podcasts on platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube
• Create viral short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)

Content Strategy

• Research trending topics and audience interests
• Prepare episode outlines, scripts, and interview questions
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice and business goals

Analytics & Optimization

• Track podcast performance (downloads, retention, engagement)
• Analyze data to improve content and growth strategies
• Stay updated with podcast industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience in podcast production or similar role
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong storytelling, communication, and content planning skills
• Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms and SEO
• Experience in social media content creation and growth strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a successful podcast channel
• Understanding of branding and audience psychology
• Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails and creatives
• Familiarity with AI tools for content repurposing
