To support the Sales team in the completion and management of the tender process, ensuring our strategy to win business is clearly articulated in a professional manner. An ideal candidate must have an academic background in creative writing, content writing, or bid writing, with a keen interest in developing a career in this field of bid writing; the role has the potential for promotion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards of work by supporting others to complete tender questions.
  • Write tender responses within the PQQ and ITTs.
  • Follow the company's bid process.
  • Find tender opportunities, source documents, and create breakdowns to share with your team.
  • Work on portals and coordinate the progress of bids with your team.
  • Help achieve sales targets through quality submissions that improve our conversion ratio from submission to success.
  • Ensure all documents are free from errors in grammar and professionally represent our brand.
  • Develop an effective library of information and liaise with other departments to keep this updated.
  • Write and develop content for tender responses that are bespoke to the target market and involve creative writing.
  • Work with BDMs to create marketing activity within guidelines, e.g., invites for events and case studies.
  • Set and achieve tender deadlines by diary management and ensure all stakeholders receive regular feedback.
  • Build relationships with colleagues to achieve deadlines and motivate others to send content for tenders.
  • Edit all content received to ensure it meets standards and is bespoke to each prospect's requirements.
  • Stay up to date with our prospects and competition to ensure responses are bespoke and deliver our strategy clearly.
  • Prepare presentations in various formats and communicate status against deadlines accordingly.
  • Actively promote personal development to ensure ongoing sales success while showing a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Demonstrate an open mind by listening to differing opinions and promote a professional image at all times.

TARGET:

  • Submit 4 quality tenders, including PQQs, per month.
  • Conduct follow-ups and debrief evaluations monthly with an action plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (creative or bid writing background preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must confidently interact with UK-based clients in a professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills; must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Prior experience in the facilities management industry or with UK-based FM clients is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tendering portals (e.g., Proactis, In-Tend, Contracts Finder) is preferred.
  • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive) is a plus.

  • Experience: 1-2 years
  • Work Timings: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (in Summers) and 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (in Winters)
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday
  • Work Mode: Onsite
