EFU Life Assurance Ltd. seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager Voluntary Pension Scheme to lead and expand our regional sales initiatives focused on voluntary pension products. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in pension schemes, investment products, and financial regulations. This role requires a results-oriented professional who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance in the highly regulated financial services environment. The candidate must have a strong track record of meeting sales targets within the financial services, insurance, investments, or banking sectors. This position includes leadership responsibilities, managing a regional sales team of 10 sales professionals. The manager will drive team performance through motivation, coaching, and strategic goal setting, fostering collaboration to maximize sales growth in voluntary pension schemes. This role demands excellent negotiation capabilities, a thorough understanding of VPS platforms, mutual funds, and investment portfolio analysis, along with unparalleled skill in customer relationship management and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to promote voluntary pension schemes and related financial products.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team of 10 professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and enhancing team productivity.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of voluntary pension scheme products, investment portfolios, mutual funds, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and distribution partners to increase product adoption and client retention.
  • Oversee sales pipeline management and ensure timely achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Manage VPS platform operations and coordinate with technical teams to improve platform usability and customer experience.
  • Conduct in-depth investment portfolio analysis to tailor product offerings and advice to client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines governing pension schemes, mutual funds, and investment products.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure beneficial terms and sustain profitability.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track customer interactions, sales progress, and forecast revenue.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including marketing, legal, and compliance to align strategies and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous professional development within the sales team by organizing training sessions and providing performance feedback.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge through certifications such as IFMP and continuous professional education.
