Scanning Technician

The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP) is looking for a 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. The role involves handling fragile archival materials, scanning documents and images, editing using photo software, cataloguing metadata, and uploading to CONTENTdm. Additional tasks include managing data storage, calibrating equipment, and supporting creative video projects.

Candidates should have training or experience in photography or graphic communication arts, be comfortable operating scanners and computers, and preferably have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
