Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Officer role based in Karāchi. The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring entrances and exits, patrolling assigned areas, and ensuring that only authorized individuals access the premises. Daily tasks include observing for suspicious activity, responding to incidents, enforcing company security policies, and documenting events and observations in clear, accurate reports. The role also involves operating security equipment such as CCTV systems, coordinating with internal teams and external emergency services when needed, and assisting visitors and employees with security-related questions. The Security Officer is expected to maintain a professional presence, follow established protocols, support safety drills and inspections, and adhere to all local laws and company regulations related to security and safety.
Qualifications
 

• Demonstrated ability to monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and follow established security procedures.
• Experience in incident response, including assessing situations, de-escalating conflicts, and contacting relevant authorities when required.
• Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate logs and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Familiarity with basic security systems and equipment (e.g., access control systems, alarms, CCTV monitoring) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods, and to perform duties during varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive information and situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, respectful approach when interacting with employees, visitors, and external partners.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
• Basic education such as a high school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is beneficial.
• Knowledge of local safety and security regulations in Karāchi and the surrounding region is a plus.
