Senior Commercial Driver (Fleet Operations)

We are looking for a disciplined and safety-focused Senior Commercial Driver to oversee scrap and waste collection operations across key industrial routes. Based at our central facility in Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, the successful candidate will manage commercial pickup routes, lead an on-board loader team, and ensure the safe and timely collection and transportation of cargo. This role involves operating heavy vehicles across Karachi’s major industrial hubs and regional locations such as Nooriabad and Gadani, maintaining vehicle readiness, and handling all necessary trip documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks and heavy pickup vehicles, including Mazda and Bedford models, servicing industrial units, factories, shipbreaking yards, and commercial plants.
- Lead and collaborate with an assigned loading crew during manual loading, stacking, and securing of scrap materials and waste.
- Efficiently manage routes within Karachi’s urban industrial areas and on highways such as the Super Highway, Northern Bypass, and coastal routes to Nooriabad and Gadani.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip technical inspections covering oil, tires, water, brakes, and battery to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
- Accurately maintain trip documentation, including weighbridge scale tickets, client gate passes, and signed collection receipts for each dispatch.

Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid and authentic LTV or HTV commercial driving license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience driving commercial vehicles such as trucks, coasters, or Mazda pickups.
- Proven familiarity with Karachi’s industrial estates and regional highway routes to Nooriabad, Gadani, and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit and able to work 12-hour shifts alongside the loading crew, demonstrating honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Base salary ranges from PKR 50,000 to PKR 55,000 per month, commensurate with license type and heavy vehicle experience.
- Overtime pay is provided for hours worked beyond the standard shift, including extra trips and weekend dispatches.
- Salaries are disbursed reliably on a monthly basis.

Work Schedule and Location
- The role requires working 12-hour shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, six days a week (Monday through Saturday).
- The reporting and dispatch location is Sector 23, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.
- The position involves extensive on-road work across various industrial and regional routes.
