Job Description

In this role, the developer optimizes ecommerce site performance by ensuring fast loading times and seamless user interactions across devices. Beyond coding custom sections and layouts, the developer will be responsible for implementing and managing Shopify app integrations, payment gateway configurations, and third-party customizations. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Shopify Plus features and custom checkout experiences to deliver advanced ecommerce functionalities. Strong command of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary to develop and maintain high-quality codebases. By leveraging Shopify's API, the developer improves the integration of external services to enhance system capabilities. This role requires independent work combined with collaborative team management to deliver innovative Shopify solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify ecommerce stores that are responsive and mobile-friendly.
• Convert Figma and PSD design files into fully functional Shopify themes with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Create custom theme sections and perform complex custom coding to enhance site functionality.
• Integrate Shopify apps, custom Shopify app solutions, payment gateways, and third-party tools to improve store capabilities.
• Configure Shopify Payment Gateway integrations and ensure secure and smooth checkout experiences.
• Troubleshoot bugs, identify issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure store stability and performance.
• Optimize website speed and overall ecommerce site performance, implementing best practices for SEO.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver user-centric and brand-aligned ecommerce solutions.
• Utilize Shopifys API to develop custom integrations that support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Shopify theme architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead and manage a team of one person, providing guidance and support to achieve project deliverables on time.
• Keep updated with the latest trends and updates in Shopify development and ecommerce technologies to continuously improve store features.
