Software Engineer

MSB IT Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript, Git, RESTful APIs, React, and React.js. The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of two years working with PHP, Laravel, and WordPress. This role requires developing robust, scalable, and efficient web applications that meet client needs and maintain high performance standards. The Software Engineer will also lead and manage a small team of two members, collaborating closely to ensure smooth project execution and delivering innovative solutions on time. The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software systems that integrate seamlessly with RESTful services and utilize front-end technologies such as React. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, efficient code management using Git, and adherence to best practices in coding and testing. This position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders while providing technical guidance to team members to foster a productive and cooperative work environment.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using JavaScript, React, and related front-end technologies.
• Utilize Git for version control to manage codebases effectively and support team collaboration.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Leverage PHP, Laravel, and WordPress expertise to enhance existing applications and build new features.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of two software engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Identify and resolve software defects and bottlenecks to improve application performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
• Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring the timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications thoroughly.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure comprehensive testing and deployment readiness.
