Speech Therapist

Bloom Academy by KVTC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Karachi.

The role involves assessing and supporting students with speech, language, communication, and related needs through individualized therapy and evidence-based intervention. The therapist will work closely with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other therapists to support each student’s communication development and functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, pronunciation, receptive and expressive language, and communication skills.
• Monitor and document student progress through accurate therapy records and reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and therapists to develop effective support strategies.
• Provide communication strategies and classroom recommendations to support student participation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and progress reviews.
• Guide parents and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
• Contribute to individualized goals and intervention plans.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech Therapy preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.
• Experience working with children/students in a multidisciplinary setting is an advantage.
• Work Location: On-site, Karachi.

Compensation: From PKR 70,000 per month
