SQA Trainee

Contour Software is currently seeking three interns or recent graduates to join its Karachi office. Selected candidates will participate in training and apprenticeship programs with the potential to transition into full-time roles. They will work within the resource-center team, supporting the onshore R&D group in various software development and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in training and apprenticeship programs to build software development skills
- Support the resource-center team in software development and quality assurance tasks
- Assist in writing and executing SQL queries for data management and analysis
- Evaluate systems to identify complexities, bottlenecks, or weaknesses
- Collaborate with team members to ensure software quality and timely delivery
- Communicate effectively within the team and across departments

Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- New, recent, or soon-to-be graduates in Computer Science or Software Engineering are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and software quality assurance/testing concepts
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Experience in writing and executing SQL queries
- Knowledge of different application types and architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
