Technical Staff – Automation Systems

Alsons Consolidated International is seeking dedicated Technical Staff for Automation Systems to join our teams in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The role focuses on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Automation Systems, including Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems. Candidates will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence through hands-on technical support, system troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The position requires traveling within designated regions to support ongoing projects and resolve technical issues promptly. Ideal candidates have 2 to 3 years of relevant field experience servicing automation and industrial electronic systems, with a strong foundation in electrical and electronic troubleshooting. The role demands a proactive approach to diagnosing faults, executing service calls independently, and performing precise installation, wiring, testing, and calibration activities. Knowledge of communication systems, controllers, sensors, and related automation equipment is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate responsibility, hard work, and adaptability to meet the company’s standards for quality and safety.

DAE / Technical Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities
 

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Automation Systems including ATG systems across assigned locations.
• Conduct detailed troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for electrical and electronic systems in automation equipment.
• Carry out wiring, testing, and calibration of control systems to ensure accurate and efficient system performance.
• Independently respond to service calls, identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance to support operational documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support ongoing projects, ensuring the timely resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and best practices during all installation and maintenance tasks.
• Travel within designated regions to provide on-site technical support and customer service as needed.
• Advise management on system improvements and potential upgrades to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Keep up to date with advances in automation technology, particularly related to controllers, sensors, and communication systems.
