Job Title: UK Paraplanner (Remote – Pakistan Based)

Location: Remote (Pakistan)
Working Hours: Full-time, aligned with UK business hours (1:00 PM to 9:30 PM Pakistan Time)
Salary: Competitive – based on experience and qualifications
Experience Required: 2+ years in financial services, wealth management, or paraplanning support
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (UK certifications a plus)

About the Role

We are hiring a remote paraplanner to support a UK-based financial advisory firm. You will work directly with regulated UK financial advisers, helping them deliver compliant, high-quality financial planning solutions to clients. This is a technical support role focused on research, analysis, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and comparisons on UK financial products (pensions, investments, insurance).
  • Prepare clear, well-structured suitability reports and recommendation letters.
  • Analyse client fact-finds, risk profiles, and objectives to support accurate advice.
  • Liaise with UK-based product providers for quotes and illustrations.
  • Assist advisers in formulating financial planning strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Ensure all reports and documentation follow FCA standards and internal procedures.
  • Keep up to date with relevant UK regulations, products, and planning tools.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a paraplanning, financial analysis, or technical support role (preferably for UK/US clients).
  • Strong understanding of UK pensions, ISAs, protection products, and tax wrappers.
  • Excellent written English and ability to produce grammatically correct, client-ready documents.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and financial planning tools or CRMs.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Working towards or willing to pursue the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or similar.
  • Familiarity with UK FCA compliance standards and suitability reporting formats.
  • Prior experience working remotely with a UK financial firm.
