Utility Invoice Data Entry Specialist ( Call Center Industry )

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a " Utility Invoice Data Entry Specialist " for it's leading client.

Location : Call Center Industry

Basic Information

• Position: Utility Invoice Data Entry Specialist
• Primary Task: Converting information from utility invoices (PDF/images) into structured data
• Work Environment: Office setting with dual-monitor workstation

Minimum Qualifications

• BA, BS, B.Com, from English medium school
• 1 to 2 years of working in an office would be preferred
• Typing skills, and good knowledge of Windows PC

Workstation Setup

• Primary Monitor: Displays source documents (utility invoices in PDF or image format)
• Secondary Monitor: Shows the data entry interface/pre-designed input module
• Essential Equipment: Mouse, keyboard, possibly a document holder

Key Responsibilities

• Review utility invoices (electric, water, gas, telecommunications, etc.)
• Extract relevant data points such as account numbers, service dates, usage amounts, rates, and total charges
• Input data accurately into the designated fields of the data entry module
• Verify data integrity before submission
• Process a predetermined number of invoices daily
• Flag any discrepancies or unusual entries for review

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Fast and accurate typing
• Basic understanding of utility billing terminology
• Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with PDF viewers and basic image manipulation (zoom, rotate)
• Experience with data entry software interfaces

Workflow Process

• Open source documents (utility invoices) on the primary monitor
• Launch data entry module on the secondary monitor
• Review invoice details systematically
• Enter corresponding data into the appropriate fields
• Verify entry accuracy
• Submit completed record
• Proceed to next invoice
