Urdu Teacher (Primary Section)

Job Overview:

NJV School Management Board is seeking a dedicated and passionate Urdu Teacher for the primary school level to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing young learners to the Urdu language, fostering a love for reading, writing, and speaking Urdu. The teacher will create a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students develop their language skills in a fun and interactive way while adhering to the school’s curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate Urdu lessons for primary school students, following the curriculum guidelines.
• Teach students the fundamentals of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Urdu, ensuring they understand basic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, songs, games, and interactive activities, to engage students in the learning process.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly and provide feedback to encourage language development.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and well-organized classroom environment.
• Create a nurturing space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Urdu.
• Foster a love for the Urdu language and culture by using creative, student-centered approaches.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
• Regularly assess students’ progress through quizzes, assignments, oral presentations, and class activities.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate with parents regarding their child’s development in Urdu language skills.
• Professional Development:
• Attend school meetings, workshops, and training sessions to improve teaching methods.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and trends in language education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share educational resources.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Incorporate cultural aspects of the Urdu language into lessons, helping students gain a broader understanding of Urdu-speaking communities.
• Organize extracurricular activities, such as Urdu language games, poetry sessions, or storytelling competitions.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the overall development of the school community.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urdu, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the primary school level.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Urdu.
• Ability to teach young learners using creative and interactive methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Passion for teaching and promoting the Urdu language and culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Urdu at the primary school level.
• Familiarity with local curriculum standards and examination systems.
• Ability to integrate technology into the teaching of Urdu.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
