About the Role

ABS International is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vocal Mixing Engineer to join our Audio Production Team. The ideal candidate must be based in Karachi, Pakistan, and should have hands-on experience in vocal recording, editing, tuning, processing, and mixing, with a strong understanding of vocal-focused productions, particularly Naat and Islamic audio projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, edit, tune, process, and mix vocals to professional industry standards.
• Apply EQ, compression, de-essing, saturation, automation, reverb, delay, and other audio-processing techniques.
• Identify and correct unwanted noise, clicks, pops, distortion, and other audio imperfections.
• Deliver clear, natural, well-balanced, and polished vocal mixes ready for production.
• Maintain organized DAW sessions, project files, and audio assets.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Work closely with the Audio Production Team to achieve the desired sound and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vocal Mixing Engineer, Audio Engineer, Sound Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vocal recording, editing, tuning, processing, and mixing techniques.
• Proficiency in FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, or other professional DAWs.
• Good understanding of microphones, vocal recording techniques, signal flow, and audio production workflows.
• A well-trained ear for vocal tone, balance, dynamics, clarity, and overall sound quality.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Experience in Naat, Islamic audio, or vocal-centric music production will be an advantage.
• This is an on-site position and does not offer remote work. Candidates must be available to work on-site at our office.
• Must be based in Karachi, Pakistan.
