NaseemBazaar.com is a growing multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace focused on bringing sellers and customers together through a modern, reliable, and scalable online shopping platform.
We are looking for a WooCommerce Marketplace Specialist who will take ownership of the day-to-day technical operations, optimization, product management, and continuous improvement of our existing WooCommerce marketplace.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands WooCommerce, WordPress, multi-vendor marketplaces, plugins, performance optimization, and e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities1. WooCommerce & Marketplace Management
· Manage and maintain the existing WooCommerce marketplace.
· Continuously optimize the website for performance, stability, security, and user experience.
· Configure and manage WooCommerce settings, products, categories, attributes, variations, coupons, orders, shipping, and other marketplace functions.
· Manage and optimize the multi-vendor marketplace functionality.
· Troubleshoot and resolve WooCommerce, WordPress, plugin, theme, and marketplace-related issues.
· Ensure the marketplace remains operational, stable, and up to date.2. Website & Plugin Updates
· Perform regular updates of:
o WordPress
o WooCommerce
o Marketplace plugins
o Payment gateway plugins
o Shipping plugins
o SEO plugins
o Security plugins
o Theme and supporting plugins
· Test updates in a controlled manner and ensure compatibility before deploying to production.
· Identify outdated, conflicting, or unnecessary plugins and recommend improvements.
· Maintain backups and follow basic website recovery procedures.3. Product Upload & Catalog Management
· Upload and manage products on the marketplace.
· Create and maintain:
o Product titles
o Descriptions
o Categories
o Attributes
o Variations
o SKU
o Pricing
o Inventory
o Product images
o SEO metadata
· Bulk upload/update products using CSV/Excel where appropriate.
· Maintain product catalog accuracy and consistency.
· Identify and correct duplicate, incomplete, or incorrectly categorized products.4. Marketplace Seller/Vendor Support
· Assist vendors/sellers with product uploads and marketplace-related issues.
· Help sellers understand the marketplace dashboard and product management process.
· Troubleshoot vendor-related technical issues.
· Monitor vendor product quality and catalog compliance.
· Support onboarding of new sellers.5. Performance & Conversion Optimization
· Monitor website speed and performance.
· Optimize:
o Database
o Images
o Caching
o CSS/JS
o Plugins
o Server-side performance
o WooCommerce queries
· Identify bottlenecks affecting customer experience.
· Improve marketplace navigation, search, filtering, product pages, cart, and checkout experience.
· Recommend improvements to increase conversion rate, customer engagement, and sales.6. Payment, Shipping & Order Flow
· Maintain and troubleshoot payment gateway integrations.
· Ensure shipping methods and delivery charges are working correctly.
· Monitor the complete customer journey:
Product → Cart → Checkout → Payment → Order → Vendor → Shipment → Delivery

· Investigate failed payments, checkout issues, incorrect shipping calculations, and order-processing problems.

7. Technical Troubleshooting
· Diagnose and resolve website errors and bugs.
· Investigate plugin conflicts and PHP/JavaScript errors.
· Work with hosting/server providers when required.
· Monitor website uptime and critical functionality.
· Coordinate with external developers when specialized development is required.8. SEO & E-commerce Optimization
· Implement basic technical SEO improvements.
· Optimize product pages, categories, URLs, metadata, images, and structured content.
· Work with the marketing team to improve organic visibility.
· Identify opportunities to improve marketplace traffic and product discoverability.9. Continuous Improvement
· Regularly review the marketplace and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Research and recommend useful WooCommerce plugins, tools, integrations, and automation.
· Help automate repetitive marketplace operations.
· Maintain a roadmap of technical improvements and optimization activities.

Required Skills & ExperienceEssential
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress & WooCommerce.

· Strong experience managing WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
· Experience with multi-vendor WooCommerce marketplaces.
· Strong understanding of:
o WooCommerce
o WordPress
o PHP
o MySQL
o HTML/CSS
o JavaScript
· Experience with WooCommerce plugins and third-party integrations.
· Experience with product catalog management and bulk product uploads.
· Good understanding of payment gateway and shipping integrations.
· Experience troubleshooting WordPress/WooCommerce issues.
· Understanding of website performance optimization.
· Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Search Console.
· Ability to work independently and take ownership of the platform.Preferred

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred but strong practical WooCommerce experience will be given higher importance than academic qualifications.
