Channel Precision is a US-based services company (primarily Amazon US) that brings together experts, business-minded PhD analysts, and a global workforce of software and data specialists.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Writer & Team Leader to join our growing team as a full-time contractor. This role plays a key part in the company, managing writers, reviewing writing, and project managing several departments and department priorities. We are looking for long-term, career-minded professionals who excel in writing, communication, and project management.

The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Writer, Copy Editor, and Team Leader with high proficiency in English language writing and editing, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to manage two other writers. Most of this work will be in the context of Amazon, but we’re also called on to produce blogs, website SEO, and other types of writing. The ability to work within a team is essential.

Duties

Most project management in our Design Team is handled by our Creative Director, but the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining priorities, editing writing in our design work (A+, listing images, etc), and communicating with brands.

Submit design proposals prepared by our design team to brand partners for review

Coordinate with the design team to implement brand-requested edits accurately and efficiently

Edit and optimize SEO and other copy for product listings and brand pages to improve organic discoverability and conversions

Participate in a larger team that provides services to an array of brands and one of the largest retailers on Amazon

Improve systems both to create great efficiency and to provide better services to our brands.

Help lead teams (Writing & SEO, Design, Listings)

Job Requirements

Mid-level experience in copywriting, copy editing, or Amazon content management

Very strong command of written English with meticulous attention to detail. This goes well beyond just native fluency: we’re looking for a wordsmith. We need someone who’s capable of learning brand voices and creating writing to match.

Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon listing best practices is a plus, but not required

Comfortable working cross-functionally with copywriting and design teams in a remote environment

Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently and in coordination with a team

The ability to project manage across departments and work within an ever-shifting landscape with constantly changing priorities

The ability to lead teams in a friendly, professional, and highly productive environment

Software Proficiencies

Most everything can be learned on the job, except the essential skills (excellent writer, communicator, team member, and project manager)

However, knowledge of these softwares is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time contractor position with a monthly starting pay of $1,400 per month. Additional benefits include:

$1,400 per month (paid biweekly in USD)

100% remote work environment.
